Baby Ben | Fresh 48

They paced the hallways, anxiously waiting to hear more news. Filling the time with stories, coloring, good conversations, long walks down the hall, and some good pizza. Cara trooped through an intense labor, and did such an amazing job. She was glowing the moment I saw her holding Ben, and looked like she never even went through what she did. Just absolutely beautiful and full of so much happiness, despite how tired she had to have been! When Ben was finally ready to be met by all the family, Harper was able to go in first with her daddy. The excitement on her face, and the love she instantly felt for her baby brother was the most adorable thing in the world. She kept saying "baby Ben" over and over, kissing him nonstop! Cara, you are amazing, such a wonderful mama, and I am so so thankful that you and Alec let me document this amazing day for your family.  Baby Ben, you are such a handsome little man, with an amazing family who loves you more than you will ever know! I am so excited to watch you grow up into a strong man of God, to see the person you become.
And, of course, to see your friendship with my little girl grow too! 
The tears, the laughter, the joy, and the excitement was such an amazing experience to be a part of.
