Lindsey has been one of my closest friends since high school and taking pictures of her and her adorable family was seriously one of my highlight sessions last fall! I am always happy when it's a friend that I get to take pictures of-add a cute puppy- you get one excited photographer! Seeing Parcher almostttt makes me want another big dog.. I mean those eyes! He is so sweet and brought so much joy to these pictures!
Matt and Lindsey are two of the sweetest, funnest, and joyful people you will ever meet. Lindsey has recently started a blog for her adventures, recipes, and bible topics/discussions! It is going to be amazing, and I am so beyond excited to see where she goes in the next few years with her big dreams and big goals! These photos are an absolute dreammmmm come true. In May, we were supposed to go up to their old home town in the mountains where they spent their first year of marriage, but with the corona virus situation I don't think that trip will be happening, sadly ): BUT whenever we do get to go, we will for SURE be squeezing in another photoshoot! I can't wait for all of our starbucks dates again, Linds! Love these photos, and I hope you do too! I am so thankful for our friendship <3

When one of the bride's must have photos is her snapping a mental picture of him at the alter, you know it's gonna be a perfect day. These two share a love of the show "the Office", and continued to snap mental pictures of each other all throughout the evening (Jim and Pam's wedding).. it was so so sweet! Every detail of their day was beyond perfect. Pymm ranch is one of the most beautiful hidden treasures! It is tucked away in the hills past the Temecula wine country. It was truly the perfect oasis for Jason and Mady's wedding day. Mady was stunningly gorgeous. Jason was beyond ready to marry his bride during the getting ready/groomsman photos! He seemed unnerved, steady, and so ready for the ceremony to start. Their sweet Hazel graced the aisle from behind the crowd at her mama's side all the way down to the front to her patiently waiting daddy, right into his arms... she had the crowd all warmed up and smiling from ear to ear. Then with every head turned to the back, she stepped out from hiding with her dad, absolutely radiant. A silence fell over the guests and everyone was in awe of her. The moment he saw her Jason smiled a giant smile, brought his hand to cover his face and then all of his emotions came crashing over him. Soon after there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd. Followed by an absolutely beautiful tear jerking ceremony, officiated by Mady's brother. Heartfelt vows were exchanged, you could feel how much they are loved by their family and friends, and the warmth of the love that was over these two from their loved ones. The rest of the evening was well, just pure FUN! Let me tell you this group knows what's up on the dance floor and aren't afraid to get down on that dance floor. It was one of the best reception's I've ever photographed! Just wait until you see these dance floor photos at the end... SO much FUN! Then add a gorgeous sparkler exit to top it all off... talk about the perfect ending to a perfect day! Every little detail these two poured into their special day was absolutely perfectly them. From the decor, her dress, to the photo booth, and the dessert table... nothing could have been better. Have I mentioned it was magical yet? I could go on and on but from here I will let the photos speak for themselves... Enjoy viewing Jason and Mady's wedding with me <3 Thank you Jason and Mady for letting me document your special day, it was definitely one I wouldn't have wanted to miss being a part of. I CANNOT wait to photograph your next chapter sooooon! Vendor Team:
Venue: Pymm Ranch Dress: David's Bridal Florist: Brandi Nicole Flowers Cake: Cafe Baker Invites: Vista Print Catering: The Mill in Murrieta DJ: Pro city DJ | Rick Walker Dance Floor: Premium Rentals I photographed Jessica + Nathan's engagement session at the Santa Rosa Plateau! These two dated in high school, are basically high school sweethearts, and are getting married this 2020! We had so much fun taking their engagement pictures! I think some of my favorites are of Nathan in uniform and how cute and snuggled up Jessica is into her military man! So sweet! I am so excited for you two! I hope wedding planning goes amazing for you and can't wait to see your beautiful day! I hope to work with you again in the future!
If you are going to be wearing a veil for your wedding day, there are a few things to keep in mind!
A modern trend is to not cover your face, but still have the veil on in the back. It's a preference based decision! There are some wonky theories out there for the reason behind this tradition. The best one I have read is that it is a white and pretty covering used as a representation of modesty, and also symbolizes the hand off from your parents to your new husband. It's sometimes a special thing for your dad to get to do for you- depending on the relationship and your dad's opinion! Many brides don't see it as a necessary tradition to follow nowadays- so go with whatever you feel most comfortable doing!
When to take it off:
One of my favorite shots to do is to wrap you up in that veil with your groom! |
